A Letter from Kat

Wine and yoga, yoga and wine. And odd pairing some may say. To me, they make perfect sense together.

When approached with curiosity, softness, and mindfulness, both have the potential to fuel the flames of connectivity. Both yoga and wine offer us portals by which we can more deeply connect to ourselves, to our history, to our communities, and to our planet. Both yoga and wine offer us opportunities to soften into and spiral between our inner and outer landscapes, to appreciate the beauty in tiny moments, and to revel in the magic of the seemingly mundane.

I'm thrilled to be hosting this yoga and wine experience with my long-time friends at Syncline Winery. For 13 years I have been haunting their wine cellar, learning from their incredible team, and sampling some of my favorite wines made in our corner of the world. It would seem that the critics agree with me, just last year Syncline earned the title of Northwest Winery of the Year.

Our day will start at 10:30am with a 90-minute yoga practice. We'll be outside (weather permitting) to enjoy the spring-time energy of the vines and garden in bloom. After our practice we will move through an immersive winery tour, led by Syncline's Head of Education, and will end with a guided wine tasting. Plenty of snacks will be provided (please do let me know if you have a food allergy - I am happy to accommodate!) as well as water and time for conversation. You will have the option to purchase wine to take home with you at the end of the experience.

We expect to be done with the event around 2pm. Please be advised that it's very easy to linger at this beautiful winery! I plan to give myself plenty of breathing room in the afternoon so that I don't feel too rushed in transitioning to my next adventure, and suggest you do the same.

I am here if you have any questions about the experience! You can email me directly (kat@katkocurek.com) or, if you feel ready to reserve your spot, please use this link to get yourself registered. I'll be in touch ahead of the event with some exclusive resources to make your day even more meaningful.

I can't wait to share this experience with you. Thank you, as ever, for your interest in these connective offerings.

Best,

-Kat
